theBalm - Nude 'tude swatches and review

When I saw this palette on xtras for £16.99 (£30 on ASOS) I knew I had to snap it up, and with free postage on all orders it was a steal. I had been lusting after theBalm Nude Tude for over a year but never justified the price (I probably still wouldn't pay £30 for it even though I love it) However after having used it for just over a week, it's definitely time to review!

As the name suggests, it's a real nude palette which are mainly the colours I gravitate too as I can't get brighter colours to work for me and I love a good brown smoky eye. It goes from light shades to dark offering all the colours you could need from matte to shimmery. This is the perfect palette for travelling. I found that the formula of the shadows are rather chalky when used with a brush but apply perfectly when you use your finger (or a wet brush.) If I were to compare it to say, the Urban Decay naked palette, it's not as good with colour pay off but you can build it up and it's a great cheaper alternative.

I think everyone can agree that the packaging is to die for. I love the whole pin up girls look and I have seen there is a new palette with men on that I think I need to get my hands on too! I am very in love with this palette and the colours are so perfect for my every day look or even the slightly vampier looks that I do on nights out. BUY HERE.
