La Roche Posay is by far my favourite skincare brand, and so far has been the most reliable and long standing at treating my acne and keeping it at bay. It started when I first purchased the Effaclar Duo about 2 years ago and was amazed at how quickly my skin cleared up. From then on I kept repurchasing the Effaclar duo until this Christmas I recieved four La Roche Posay items from my mum that have been a dream.
First things first, his face wash smells amazing. It is really fresh and smells -the good kind of- clinical. I usually wash my face with the Bioré Charcoal face wash to remove any make up and then go in with this to really get into my pores. It lathers up really nicely and then I use my Magnitone Lucid to finish the job before rinsing my face and moving onto my next product.
This is the next step in my nightly skincare routine. I put a little onto a cotton pad and wipe it over my face, focusing on any trouble areas or break outs. It's basically a cleanser with a boost, to get rid of any dead skin and to help unblock pores! Again it has that staple Effaclar scent and doesn't sting the skin at all. The only down side to this is that it seems to be going down quite quickly, but that can't be helped!
If you haven't tried this yet, you really need to! And if you have, there's not much I can say that you wont already know! This is my holy grail of skincare. It's like a little tube of miracles. At first you might think oh god, what have I done, as it brings all the yucky stuff in your skin up to the surface, and then POOF it obliterates them and helps more from appearing! I use this just before I go to bed, and also in the morning. I haven't been wearing make up this past month or so unless I'm filming or going out somewhere nice (not the supermarket!) so It's been nice to let my skin breathe and repair.
