It's no secret I'm a big fan of colorful lipsticks, from purples to hot pinks to orange. I love them all. Throughout 2014 I will be doing a lets get lippy wishlist of new items or lip sticks that catch my eye. Here's the January edit.
Part of the infamous Revlon Butter Balm family, this intrigued me because it looks like lipstick for aliens. After a bit of googling, I realised it wasn't actually blue but clear with minuscule bits of blue glitter (really Serena?!) I thought this would be nice on top of other lipsticks, It also a vanilla scent, yum. -Boots, £7.99.
This is quite an 'old' lipstick now as it was part of the spring/summer 2013 collection. You may have seen me mention it a few times on my blog before, yep, it;s the colour! "Their lightweight texture gives a sheer, glossy finish while the moisture-rich formula delivers sumptuous, long-lasting colour. " -Boots, £5.00.
I don't own anything by Nars so really want to give one of their Lip Pencils a go, I'm a big fan of the crayon like stains, they're always full of moisture and pigment. This is the colour YU. "NARS Satin Lip Pencil offers arresting colour and a seductively satin finish. Drenched in decadent moisture for an ultra creamy finish, these statement shades smolder with rich pigments." -HQ Hair, £17.50.
"What could be better, a lip liner and lipstick in one! NYX Jumbo Lip Pencil delivers precise lip lining while filling your lips with a smooth creamy, moisturising colour." Nyx is one of my favourite brands, affordable and always great quality. Just like the Nars Lip Pencil, I love lipsticks in crayon form, easy application and always full of hydration, I picked out one in HOT RED (which is a blue toned red, perfect for sparkly white teeth) and one in IRIS, a champagne colour.-NYX, £5.00
