You know I am a huge fan of skincare, collecting bits here and there, more so then I do with cosmetics. I think it started when I was on the search to find the perfect face wash that would banish my acne. Unfortunately the only thing that eventually really worked was the medication I was prescribed. But that doesn't stop me looking up new products, reading reviews and buying more. I will say that it's a combination of products that keep my skin happy and 'healthy.'
I have dry / normal skin and so my face often feels lacking in hydration no matter how much moisturiser I slap on morning and night. Therefore I'm always looking at new moisturisers, face masks, night creams and most of all face wash that doesn't strip all my skins moisture.
In the winter my skin is even more deprived (and I know I should drink more h20.. because quite frankly unless it's in the form of tea.. I don't!) but it's more then just my face. Hands, knees, elbows.. and sometimes my ears! I currently have an eye infection that is causing eczema type symptoms around my eyelashes which is really uncomfortable and so haven't been using any eye makeup for three weeks. Here is my current skincare wishlist (if money was no object of course!)

ONE / TWO / THREE / FOUR / FIVE / SIX / SEVEN / EIGHT / NINE / TEN |
ONE - Mayday Mayday Rescue Balm : A rich, soothing and healing balm for very dry skin. Designed to act as an instant skin saver it is a great all-rounder for use on any dry, irritated skin (cheeks, lips, elbows, knees etc). Absolutely just what my skin needs! It claims to help the appearance of chapped skin, so I really want to try this out! - £21
TWO - The Organic Pharmacy Blemish Gel : A highly active but ultra gentle gel that contains healing as well as antiseptic herbs and essential oils to reduce spots super fast without drying or irritating. Aloe repairs and reduces redness while Tea Tree, Manuka and Lavender provide a strong but gentle antiseptic action. I stopped using specific spot treatment products like this but I love how many natural ingredients it has and it's really intriguing! - £17.95
FOUR - Skin Perfecting Lotion Blemish Control : Big fan of Murad face products and this one is basically a spot fighting moisturiser! Intensely hydrate your skin while controlling oil-production, eliminating shine and keeping pores clear and healthy, leaving you looking flawless. The Science behind the Results: Retinol - Increase cell turnover to reveal healthy, smooth, blemish-free skin, while improving skin texture and tone. Queen of Meadow: Eliminate oily, shiny skin by controlling oil-production. Arnica - Soothe and calm red, inflamed skin leaving it feeling soft, hydrated and smooth. - £34
SIX - Cool & Clear Facial Cleanser : Another Elemental Herbology (who else is reminded of Harry Potter whenever they hear this brand *puts hand up*) product, this time a facial cleanser / wash to battle clogged skin and remove the nasties. This anti-bacterial, foaming facial cleanser gently dissolves impurities, purifies pores, removes all traces of make-up and balances oil, leaving the skin feeling clean and refreshed. Apply to damp skin in small circular motions, paying particular attention to areas of congestion. Remove with warm water and pat dry. - £29
SEVEN - Moringa Cleansing Balm : I had a 30ml sample of this a while back and absolutely LOVED it, but the price has been putting me off buying a full size, I would love to own this because it really does just melt makeup off your face, smells amazing, and makes your face feel incredible. Moringa Cleansing Balm, a balanced daily cleanser that thoroughly cleanses and moisturises and can calm sensitive skin and revitalise dull and mature skins.Doubles as a soothing and hydrating mask if left on the skin for ten minutes. - £34
EIGHT - Cell Revitalise night moisturiser : This is a brand I've only just discovered but realllllly want to try! Aurelia Probiotic Skincare prides itself on its beautiful mix of science and natural luxury. All products are free from synthetic fragrances, parabens, mineral oils, silicones, sulphates, propylene glycol, phthalates, GMO, PEGs, TEA and DEA. We never test on animals. It has a strong lean on natural ingredients and I'm really interested to try their night repair cream! - £42
NINE - Night Repair Cream : I have raved and raved about this and I absolutely love it. It's such a soothing, smoothing cream that makes your face really hydrated and spots are smoothed out with reduced redness, a real miracle product for only £5! Apply before bed and let this rich and soothing cocktail of active ingredients nourish and strengthen your skin while you sleep. The cream contains ceramides to help repair skin and a combination of ginseng, natural vitamin E and sweet almond oil to replenish a tired complexion. - £5
TEN - Hydro-Dynamic Ultimate Moisture for eyes : With my eyes being really sore recently just washing my face with water has been irritating them (how?!) so to stop the stinging I have been using up a small sample pot of the Hydro Dynamic Ultimate Moisture eye cream and it is super thick so has been really nice to smooth onto the skin around my eyes that are chapped and dry. I have about one use left so would love the full size, but it's a little pricey for me! This über-hydrating cream instantly firms and awakens the delicate eye area while maintaining optimal moisture levels for up to 8 hours. - £57
