The Neutrogena Wave has been around for quite a few years now but when I saw it in Home Bargains for £1.99 I thought I'd give it a go. I had a very similar product from Avon that died a couple of months ago and I wanted something to replace it with.
The Wave itself comes with a battery and 14 of the foaming cleanser pads, so you can use it straight away! For £1.99 that was a very good deal, but Home Bargains were also selling the refill cleanser pad kits, which have 30 pads in for 99p so I bought three! They also have refill kits (also 99p) specifically for black heads which I think I will try next!
I have used it for just over a week now. Every night I clean my face normally using my Amie Daily exfoliator and then with a slightly damp face I use one of the foaming cleanser pads with a little of my own Clearasil Overnight action face wash on the Wave. You just press the little on button and it vibrates slightly helping your face wash to get deep into your skin and clean away any dirt or impurities still left. I have to say I am really really pleased with the effects of this product and may even buy another for the eventual demise. I'm probably going to stock up on the refill pads while they're still in stock as you can't be sure when things will disappear from Home Bargains! I had heard that the Wave had two speeds however mine doesn't! So not too sure about that.
The Wave is shaped perfectly for the shape of your hands and it has a plate on the front that acts as a sort of velcro to hold the pad onto. Also each refill pack come with a new front plate which I think is great because then you are getting a fresh clean base every 30 or so pads. Overall I am super pleased with this little guy and would urge you to run to home Bargains now and purchase one if you love all things skincare or are looking for a new product to help with any blemishes! I have noticed a difference in the surface of my skin which can sometimes be quite bumpy but is pretty smooth right now. No bad words to say about this, and my purse isn't complaining either!
